Maggies Is Where
A Warm Welcome Awaits You

When It All Started

Our Story

Maggies Tavern started in 1919 and was run by a poor farming family. Maggie was the eldest daughter and she dedicated herself to family life after she left school, helping her mother with the household duties and farming. In the 1940’s, Maggie purchased a shop where she worked for a number of years, until she went to take over a pub at Brogan’s Quay in the late 1940s.

The Bar

We have a fabulous bar that was recently renovated, with beautiful tabletops and lots of seating available. We serve all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks in our bar, along with bar food and snacks.
